Cynthia Isenhower is a graduate of Indiana University with degrees in Flute Performance and Arts Administration. Her teachers have included Gail Adams, Harry Houdeshel, James Pellerite, Erv Monroe, and Gerald Carey.
She has happily maintained her teaching studio for over 30 years. The challenges of accommodating unusual instrumentation and varied abilities of her students’ flute ensembles led her to start arranging music for them. Things snowballed when her students began requesting specific music……a challenge she was glad to
Cynthia’s Slavonic Dance is her very first published arrangement and she hopes to continue with this success. She is an Illinois native and resides there still with her family that includes four cats.
